We got married on December 17, 2024 so it will be our six month anniversary

Why a destination event? Why Mexico?

Answer

¡¿Porqué no?! Lol no just kidding. It is because we both have families and friends spread out all over the United States (and Japan!), it just made sense to make it a celebration, reunion and vacation all in one! We would love to be able to spend time with everyone over a few days versus have a rushed three hour, one night event that we wouldn’t get to spend nearly as much time we’d like for each individual coming to celebrate with us. Mexico seemed like the best location since it is pretty central to most of our guests, plus the all-inclusive aspect helps the budget and obviously, Mexican beaches are beautiful!

When should we book our hotel?

NOW! The hotel has a very lenient cancellation policy and requires ZERO deposit.

What about flights?

Answer

We recommend flying into Cancún International Airport (CUN) With all that’s going on the world, we also recommend travel insurance just in case of any unplanned events or restrictions

Answer

SLS recently opened in November of 2024. The all-inclusive resort includes food and drinks (alcoholic and non) at 18 restaurants/bars, entertainment/shows, 4 pools, splash zone, non-motorized water sports on the secluded beach, kids club and teen club, gym facilities and a multitude of fitness classes. It is located in Playa Mujeres which is a gated community within the Cancún area.

What is not included in the all-inclusive?

For an extra cost, the following are also available: motorized water sports, spa treatments, premium wine, premium spirits, excursions in the surrounding areas.
