Our first date was at a local coffee store in Brookline. While Kat ordered her usual non-fat latte, Ben ordered nothing (he doesn't drink coffee, and was too excited to order anything else). We bonded over our shared interest in traveling - after which Kat immediately left on a work trip abroad. Upon her return, she texted to see if Ben wanted to hit a bucket of balls at the driving range, and our golf partnership began. We started spending more & more time together, as our first few dates led to a fully-fledged relationship. We learned how to juggle our busy schedules to make time for each other, and how to navigate the many challenges life throws our way. Through this, our love grew stronger and stronger every day, blossoming like a cherry tree. After 20 months of adventures together, we decided to solidify our bond with a diamond ring! From long walks on their local bike trails to checking off their travel bucket list on other continents, every day has been an adventure and an education: Ben has learned much about the art of choral conducting, while Kat has learned more about the science of coaching track & field. We hope to continue learning, exploring, and growing together as we begin the next stage of our relationship. We can't wait to get married on June 27, 2027 - see you in Seattle at our celebration!
