Terrance and Chanetta met in 2009 while working in Sam’s Club. Since Terrance worked nightshift and Chanetta worked during the day, they’d cross each other during shift change. Honestly, she wasn’t too fond of him because he joked around so much. One day in 2010 when Chanetta was leaving the store after closing, Terrance shot his shot! Shortly after, the two randomly decided to meet up outside of the workplace in the Wawa parking lot in Hopewell. They ended up hanging out IN A PARKING LOT for FOUR HOURS! Talking, laughing, joking, learning about one another.... it was an instant strong connection. That day was the start of an amazing bond. They made their relationship official on December 4, 2010 (his birthday)

Terrance and Chanetta ended up breaking up in 2011. There were a few things that resulted in this, but in a nutshell, growth was much needed. After all, they were young adults still figuring things out within themselves. But even though they were no longer together they never lost touch. They always kept tabs on each other. The love never left. They both had moved on but remained good friends.

By the time 2017 had rolled around, both Terrance and Chanetta had both became VERY different people. On June 23, 2017 the 2 met at Applebees to just hang out as friends... or at least that’s what she thought lol. Terrance let her know exactly what he wanted. He wanted that old thing back! Chanetta let him know what all she needed for her to be open to it and he began to put in work. It was not easy. But in time the two relearned eachother and on February 16, 2018 in Ruth Chris, they were officially a couple again.

June 12, 2019 was a big day. Chanetta turned 30! A big dinner was planned at The Boathouse in Rockets Landing so it wasn’t strange for everyone to come together for the occassion... After Chanetta opened gifts and everyone was aquainted, Terrance decided IT WAS TIME! Two of Terrance’s friends arrived at the dinner unexpectedly and shortly after, on her birthday, he popped the question! Of course SHE SAID YES!
