We're getting married!

Like all good love stories, ours started with… absolutely zero sparks. We first met in March 2022 through mutual friends over dinner at their house. Mitch was charming (probably), and I (Chanelle) was in the final stretch of PT school and absolutely not looking for a relationship. We didn’t exactly hit it off - no dramatic goodbyes, no “when can I see you again?” moments. Just two people who shared a meal and went on with life. Fast forward to the end of July: I had just taken my boards exam, and somehow, we reconnected. We hung out one time… and that one time turned into every time. From then on, we were pretty much inseparable. Things moved quickly in the best way - we moved in together in December 2022, brought home our sweet (and dramatic) dog Leopold in February 2023, made a big move to Atlanta later that year, and got engaged in May 2024. We’re now back in Buffalo, surrounded by family, friends, and the community we love. We may not have had a picture-perfect “how we met” moment, but our story is perfectly ours - a little unexpected, a little chaotic, and exactly right. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you.
