Our story started during a swing dance practice one Thursday evening in Austin, Tx. Although we were not matched as dance partners, we made frequent but subtle eye contact with each other throughout practice. After practice, we went dancing at a nearby bar. When it was time to leave, Bryon walked me to my car. Instead of exchanging numbers and going our separate ways, we sat in the parking lot and talked for two hours. I was so intrigued by our conversation that evening, that I invited him to a house party that I hosted the following night. We started dating from that day on and have been inseparable ever since.

Bryon's family hosted a family reunion over Memorial weekend in Dallas, Tx last year. A few of us planned to go ax-throwing that Saturday evening. Right before it was time to leave, Bryon "lost" the car keys and sent me upstairs to look for them. As I walked down the stairs, Bryon was on bended knee, in front of most of his family asking me to marry him. I was in such shock, I didn't even answer the question! Bryon asked a second time, through tears, I said YES! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with our close family and friends. See ya'll in Texas!
