What Should I Wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal Black Tie with a 1920's/Gatsby Flare! No jeans or tennis shoes. Do not wear white. Please bring comfortable shoes to dance in!

Where is the Ceremony and Reception taking place?

Same Venue: Muhammad Ali Center: 6th Floor 144 N. 6th St, Louisville, KY 40202

Will the Ceremony and Reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are indoors. However, cocktail hour will have an outdoor option.

What happens after the Ceremony?

Answer

Guests have access to the Muhammad Ali Center immediately following the ceremony. After touring the center guests can enjoy cocktails right outside the ceremony doors and balcony. There will be Hors D'oeuvres and the bar will be open.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that you arrive thirty minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to being in a downtown location parking is not free. However, there is a parking garage at the Muhammad Ali Center and various parking garages in the area. Parking at the Muhammad Ali Center is $9-$15. Check with your hotel to see if they provide shuttle services.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us.

Are the Ceremony and Reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels and tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #ChanelGotDakaraiedAway so we can keep track of call your pictures. Please do not take pictures during the ceremony.

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes there will be a buffet.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "No", so we can plan accordingly. You can update your RSVP at any time.
