We matched on Tinder in February 2020—just in time for the world to shut down. Our first date was at Boston Pizza on a Friday… and we couldn’t wait to see each other again. So we didn’t. Our second date was Saturday. Third date? Sunday. From the beginning, we just clicked—conversations flowed, laughs were constant, and it felt like we had known each other forever. When COVID hit, dating got tricky..... We both lived with our parents—who were very strict about no visitors—so we had to improvise. Our relationship bloomed in the McKinney Centre parking lot in Whitby, close to Andrews parents house, where we ate a lot of Pita Pit in the car, laughed for hours, and picked up a couple hobbies outside (rollerblading and running). We will never forget the time we got caught in a full-on torrential downpour mid-rollerblade and ended up absolutely soaked—Thankfully, Andrew's mom made an exception to her "no guests inside" rule, and let Chanel inside to get a dry pair of clothes. In 2021, we moved to Toronto with our daughter Hanna, and started building our life together. We’ve travelled to Las Vegas, Banff, and Lake Louise (where Andrew proposed!), took a family road trip to North Carolina, and we love our annual family trips to Blue Mountain and Niagara Falls. 2023 was a big year: we found out we were expecting a baby boy (Andrew was over the moon) and brought home our pup, Cooper. Together, we love good food, sunny patios, adventures with our kids, and trying new hobbies—like golfing, running, and even experimented with snowboarding (though Andrew's "coach" energy is a little... intense). Now, with our little family settled in Whitby, we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with the people who’ve supported and loved us along the way.
