We’re getting married!

Our love journey began while Chandra was a sophomore at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia. While serving in the Armed Forces in 2014, Rashad relocated to Robins Air Force Base. For the both of us, it was more than love at first sight. We experienced ESP – a whimsical venture of two hearts meeting! While our paths had never crossed until then, we felt drawn to each other as if our past lives connected. Our long-distance, 8-year relationship mirrors the lyrics to PJ Morton's song "First Began"; it's a memorable, unwavering foundation that has always allowed us to revisit the beginnings "so we could fall [in love] again". We have nourished friendship through sacrifice, understanding, and grace. We are best friends and forever soulmates.
