After connecting on a dating app, our first date was at The Womack. Neither one of us thought to make a reservation, so we ended up sharing a table with another couple. We swapped bad dating stories, talked about what was really important to us in a relationship, and laughed at each other's bad jokes. At the end of the night, we both knew we had met someone special. It was love at first swipe.

The proposal took place on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. The memorial was almost empty, and we were able to share a wonderful, private moment.
