We first met in Chandlyr’s hometown at Ernie’s Sports Bar, where a little spark—and a bit of help from Dawson’s friend, Dylan—got us talking. (shoutout to Dylan for the assist!) Funny enough, we already had each other on Snapchat and later discovered that Dawson had actually messaged Chandlyr way back in 2017. It seems the universe had been trying to bring us together for years. After that night, we kept in touch, and Dawson started making trips to visit Chandlyr at college. Before long, everything just fell into place. We officially began dating, and after graduation, we moved to Georgetown to start our next chapter together. Not long after, we added our sweet golden girl, Rue, to the family—making life even more full of love (and dog hair). After four years of memories, laughter, and growing together, Dawson proposed in one of our favorite places—Chandlyr’s dad’s farm—with just the two of us and Rue. It was quiet, meaningful, and was the perfect start to our new chapter in a place that already holds so many special memories for us.
