Alex proposed at the Grand Ecore Visitor Center on what I thought was a simple surprise date. At the overlook above the Red River, Alex shared how a devotional in Genesis helped him see how small things — like a stream — grow into something beautiful, just like our relationship. Then, he dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him. Through happy tears and shaky hands, I said yes. Before it happened, we stopped to pray together in the middle of the trees — a moment I’ll treasure forever. The evening ended with hugs, family photos, and memories we’ll never forget.
