We recommend arriving on Thursday, April 1 and departing on Sunday, April 4. This allows you to be present for the welcome party, wedding, reception, and enjoy a full Saturday in Mexico before departing on Sunday.

Is there transportation to and from the Resorts to the ceremony?

Yes! We will be providing a complimentary shuttle service to and from Barcelo Maya Grand Resort and other nearby resorts. If you are staying at a different resort, please reach out to us so we can make sure it is nearby.

Is there a dress code?

Welcome Party- All White Beach Attire: Think light linens, white button downs, maxi dresses Ceremony & Reception- Coastal Formal Attire Seaside Elegance mixed with Coastal Flare- We want you to feel comfortable and stylish! Embrace the tropical tones like ocean blues, sunset hues, and light pastels. For women, we suggest lightweight maxi length dresses, elegant jumpsuits, or dressy midis. For men, we recommend breathable summer suits, linen trousers, or dress shirts with chinos. Sand-friendly footwear like wedges, flat sandals, or stylish loafers are highly encouraged.

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! A passport is required to travel to Mexico. You can apply for a passport at most Post Offices. Passports often take 8-10 weeks to arrive so make sure you apply asap. If you have a passport, make sure that it is not going to expire within 6 months of your travel. If so, you will need to renew your passport before the trip!
