Can I bring a date?

Unfortunately the venue is only able to accommodate a specific number so unless specified on your invitation, we cannot add any additional guests.

How should I plan to get to and from the venue?

Answer

If you are staying at the Inn at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, a free shuttle bus is available between the venue and Inn throughout the evening. If you plan on driving, there is a parking lot at the venue. Please be aware that availability is on a first-come, first serve basis. We encourage all of our guests who plan to enjoy libations to find a different mode of transportation. If you are staying at the Holiday Inn Express, Hilton Garden Inn, or Best Western that we have blocks at, we will have a 28 person shuttle making a loop from the venue/inn from 9pm- Midnight. The shuttle will start picking guests up at the Inn after the final 10pm loop from the venue. If you are staying at another venue outside of those listed, Lyft and Uber are available. However, please note that the availability of both can decrease later in the evening. We have provided information for a cab service on the Travel page. We recommend calling and planning service in advance.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please arrive in enough time to be seated and comfortable for the ceremony to begin at 6:30pm. There is a shuttle from the CBBC Inn to the Club. Additionally, there is first come, first serve parking at the venue and Uber and Lyft available on the island.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Although there is not a formal event, any guests arriving on Friday are welcome to join us at Knoxie's Table Friday evening to celebrate our last night of singledom.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is first come, first serve parking at the venue. Please keep in mind that there will be multiple events that evening so parking may be limited. Uber and Lyft are available. If you are staying at the inn, the venue is walkable and there are free shuttles available.

We both love little ones, but this will be a late-night reception so we encourage you to use Care.com to find someone to watch after the kiddos.

Should we bring the gift to the wedding?

Answer

Since we live in Chicago and will be having the wedding on the east coast, we would appreciate it if you could ship any gifts through the address provided in the registry and skip bringing any gifts to the wedding.
