Our Story
Chandler and Maya first became acquaintances in high school physics class, but didn't get to know each other until years later when they reconnected. Their first date was in March, 2021 eating pizza and trying to hear each other over the obnoxiously loud music. They spent the next almost 2 years enjoying farmers markets, cooking new recipes, drinking Pinot Grigio, flying airplanes, and exploring Milwaukee after moving in together. Chandler and Maya also spend a LOT of time with their dogs, Stella and Dash.
They would like to travel the world together, and have already visited Mackinac Island, Arizona, New York, and the Florida Keys.
Chandler proposed in December 2022 in Central Park after a horse drawn carriage ride (and Hamilton the night before), and they spent the rest of the day exploring 5th avenue, having a drink on a rooftop next to the empire state building, seeing the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center, and also looking over the city at night on the top of Rockefeller.
