Saint James Episcopal Church 1880 Camp Road, Charleston, SC 29412 The ceremony will be held in the sanctuary of Saint James Episcopal Church. Immediately following the ceremony, guests are invited to make their way across the outdoor colonnade to the adjacent banquet hall for cocktail hour and the reception. The evening will continue with dinner, drinks, and dancing to celebrate.

DRESS ATTIRE

Answer

The attire is formal, black-tie optional. Guests are requested to wear floor-length dresses, evening gowns, tuxedos, or dark suits. Military service members are encouraged to wear their dress uniforms if they wish.

PLUS ONES & CHILDREN

Answer

Plus ones and children are welcome. We made our best efforts to already include them on the guest list. If you are missing a plus one and/or child on your RSVP and you plan for them to attend, please reach out to us so we can add them to your invite. We want to ensure they are included in the headcount ahead of time.

PARKING

There are 200 free parking spaces available on the premises for guests. If you plan on bringing your car, DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE.

PHONES & CAMERAS

We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture the day so have chosen to do an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that you put away your cell phones and/or cameras during the ceremony.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Answer

We’ve chosen not to reserve a formal hotel room block so guests have the flexibility to choose accommodations that best fit their preferences, travel plans, and budget. For those unfamiliar with Charleston, Folly Beach and Downtown are great areas to stay and are within close proximity to the venue. The wedding venue is conveniently located between both. If you’re looking for a laid-back, coastal experience, Folly Beach is perfect. Think ocean views, casual beach bars, and a relaxed atmosphere. If you want southern charm, history, walkability, and amazing food and nightlife, downtown Charleston is the way to go.
