New Bern is the heart of our relationship. It is where Laura visited Chandler all throughout their early years of dating in high school. We did all the tourist things, showed our friends around, and where our relationship started. Starting off strong, if you're anything like a history nerd like us, this is perfect. This is where our first governor housed. This was restructured and rebuilt after it the original was destroyed in a fire in 1778!
This is exactly what you think. New Bern was the birthplace of Pepsi Cola. This little store right in the heart of downtown is the perfect place to stop by during your cozy stroll.
This is the best breakfast place in New Bern. When you go, you have to try the Hash Brown Casserole, we look forward to it every time we visit. It is a non-negotiable to have a breakfast date here for us!
Take full advantage of this wonderful spot. They do take reservations, so go reserve a spot now. Chandler LOVES a good brunch, and this hits the spot. We recommend a Mimosa Flight and you really cannot go wrong with anything on their brunch food menu.
This is a lovely waterfront park that holds a lot of memories. It is where Chandler's parents got married under the pavilion, Laura and Chandler have spent many walks at, and lots of festivities in New bern throughout the year.
