those burning questions

Question

Will it be fun?

Answer

Yes.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving to the ceremony at least 20 minutes early to enjoy a pre-ceremony drink and to find your seat. Doors will open for guests at 5:00pm.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We want all of our guests to feel and look as great as we do! Mid to floor length gowns, or extra fabulous tea length and midi dresses. as for the men - wear a suit you feel your best in, and tuxes are welcome!

Question

My child is attached to my hip - can we bring them?

Answer

We love your kids - we really do! However, we are asking that guests be limited to ages 16 and up.

Question

How about my cat/dog/second cousin once removed/the person I met at the bar the night before?

Answer

Unfortunately, we do not have the facilities to house guests other than those who are listed on the invitation. we would be more than happy to continue the celebration with your second cousin once removed on another night!

Question

I heard the ceremony is going to be unplugged. As-in no electricity? The ceremony is going to be in the dark?

Answer

Yes, the brides outfits will be glow in the dark.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

This must be what you really meant by the unplugged question! We would love our guests to take and post as many pictures as they'd like from the cocktail hour and reception. We do ask all guests to please keep their phones and electronic devices put away for the ceremony and leave the picture taking to the professionals during this time.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! please include any specific dietary restrictions with your RSVP.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception, including the cocktail hour, will be indoors. The cocktail hour will require guests to move to a different floor and elevators are available for all to use.

Question

Will there be dancing?

Answer

No, the building is old and no sudden movements are permitted.

Question

Seriously...no dancing?

Answer

Of course there's dancing! Well, at least an amusing interpretation of it. If you stay long enough you might even snag a peek of Chandler droppin' it low.

Question

Can I make a toast?

Answer

Sorry, no small kitchen appliances are allowed in the venue.

Question

Will there be transportation between the hotels and venue?

Answer

Each of the hotels with room blocks are all within a short distance from the venue (Hilton Garden Inn - .1 miles, The Omni - .3 miles, The Glenn - .4 miles). We encourage all guests to take in the scenic views of the city on the short walk between locations. If you are unable to make the walk, or need additional assistance, there will be rideshare options available. Please check back soon for more details.

Question

What is the rideshare voucher code?

Answer

For those who would like to use rideshare to the venue, you can use the code "CHANDLERANDKACEY" for a $10 credit on the Lyft app. This code will be valid starting two hours prior to the wedding start time.

Question

What's the 411 on parking?

Answer

Being in the heart of the city, parking can be fairly limited and traffic can be a downer. We encourage all guests to carpool or use a rideshare option. Please use the code "CHANDLERANDKACEY" on the Lyft app for your transportation to/from the wedding, if needed. If you wish to drive, there are multiple surface lots and public parking decks around the venue.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Although your attendance is a gift in itself, we do have a registry! Please see the "registry" tab at the top of the website.

Question

Will there be an after party?

Answer

After the show it's the after party, and after the party is the hotel lobby...right?! Well, no, not quite, but we will more than likely grab some post-wedding drinks at one of the bars around the venue! Exact location probably TBD, but we'll play a game of telephone during the reception to spread the word.

Question

Can I take home a centerpiece or decorations?

Answer

That'll be a no...but I guess you could pluck a flower or two on the way out if you really want.

Question

I can't believe COVID is still around...

Answer

We share the same sentiment and want all guests to have fun, be comfortable, and stay healthy! We encourage all guests in attendance to please be vaccinated. Masks are not required and will not be provided, however, we implore all guests to make the decision on mask-wearing that will make you the most comfortable.
