What are the Covid-19 Protocols?

UPDATE!!!!! As of 4/1/22: ALL RESTRICTIONS ARE LIFTED! :) As of 11/24/21: To comply with our venue’s current Covid-19 indoor dining guidelines, our venue requires guests to provide either a negative PCR Covid test within 72 hours of the event OR proof of vaccination to a Seabrook Island club member (Bob and Sue Craft). This is currently being policed under a honor system approach (wink wink). It is very likely that this protocol will not be in place in June of 2022; however, we wanted to make our guests aware of this potential possibility. We will keep attendees updated on current protocols as we hear more.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are several options for accommodations. We have a block of 15 rooms available at The Hampton Inn and Suites Charleston/West Ashley ($169/night) for a Friday, June 10th check-in and a Sunday, June 12th check-out (30 minutes from venue. Shuttle will be provided for day of wedding only). If we fill these, more rooms can be reserved! Reservations must be booked before May 10th. After May 10th, the blocked rooms are open to the public and rates will go up significantly. Another option is to rent a villa on Seabrook Island via Airbnb or VRBO, prices start around $200/night, which will accommodate 4-6 people. There are larger villas available if you choose to do a multifamily option as well. We highly recommend booking villas ASAP as June is peak vacation rental season. Additionally, there is a hotel conveniently located on Seabrook Island, The Andell Inn, for over $400 per night. We cannot wait to see everyone!

Will the wedding be outdoors or indoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the wedding will take place outdoors by the beach and pool area with an indoor reception to follow. If there is bad weather, the wedding will take place in the clubhouse. Please see below FAQs on how to get to each location.

If I drive to the venue, where do I go and how do I get through the gate? (Outdoor Wedding)

Answer

If guests elect to drive themselves to the venue (or Uber/Lyft), please use the address ____________. Once you arrive at the gate, please use the left lane closest to the gatehouse and tell the security guard that you are attending the Pyke/Craft Wedding. Upon arrival to the clubhouse, please walk across the street towards the beach and around the back of the pool area, and you should see where chairs have been set up for the wedding.

If guests elect to drive themselves to the venue (or Uber/Lyft), please use the address ____________. Once you arrive at the gate, please use the left lane closest to the gatehouse and tell the security guard that you are attending the Pyke/Craft Wedding. Upon arrival to the clubhouse, please enter through the front double doors and a staff member will be there to assist you.

We are leaving this decision up to the parents! Please feel free to make this a family trip or a kid-free vacation. All that we ask is that everyone enjoys themselves in whatever way they see fit.
