Eric and Chandler

Their story begins on New Years Day 2017. Even though Eric and Chandler didn't officially meet until that day, if it had been up to their friends, they would've met many months before. Nevertheless, the timing could not have been more perfect. Meeting on the first day of a new year was very meaningful for them and they were excited to start off the year with a fresh start. As anticipated, they hit it off instantly, and began talking everyday. One date quickly turned into many, and soon they became a part of each others' lives. Between Chandler's busy schedule as a nurse in the PICU at Lurie Children's Hospital and Eric's full time job in insurance, and part time job as a basketball player ;) ... they managed to make each other a priority and build a life together in Chicago. Everything became much more permanent this July when Eric flew to the Big Apple to make her dreams come true! Chandler was in NYC with her family having tea at the Plaza Hotel and in walks Eric. He proposed right then and there, followed by a carriage ride around Central Park. Topping it all off with dinner and drinks at the top of The Standard overlooking the Hudson River and the city lights... it was a fairy tale kind of day! The next day Eric and Chandler flew back to Chicago, where the surprises didn't stop. Upon their return, Eric had arranged for some of Chandler's very best friends to be waiting for her at their condo. To keep the celebrations going, they decided to go to Happy Camper ( their first date spot) for dinner. Where yet another surprise was in store for Chandler, as she was walking into an engagement party filled with all of their closest family and friends! Eric couldn't have planned a more special, or thoughtful day. Being surrounded by everyone that is near and dear to them is what they value the most, so they cant wait for their big day with all of you! 6/26/2021 - Let the countdown begin!
