Yes, the Santa Barbara is one of the most popular courthouses for weddings in Southern California. Please be aware that this is public place and is likely to be very busy during the time of year our ceremony takes place. We are not allowed to close the door to the Mural room at any time. Tourists are also allowed to enter the Mural room at any time so if a random person walks in, don’t be alarmed! There is no rice or confetti allowed in the mural room or anywhere on the property for any reason.
Guests are asked to wear their snazziest all black outfits. Dress to impress and wear what makes you the most confident.
The venue is indoors however there is not air conditioning. Bringing a personal fan is recommended as the ceremony is in August and normally quite hot.
Guests are asked to arrive at 2:15 and find their seats in the Mural room promptly at 2:30.
