Chancellor and Reilly met on December 6, 2019 during finals week at the University of Louisville library. Chancellor had previously seen Reilly studying there and knew he had to talk to her. From that day on, they were inseparable. They officially began dating on January 22, 2020. In a full-circle moment tied to where they first met, Chancellor spent seven months planning a surprise on-the-field proposal for the September 7, 2024 U of L football game. The proposal shocked everyone (especially Reilly, who will proudly tell you she “Kim K ugly cried”). The unforgettable proposal was featured in the Courier Journal and aired live on ESPN!
