They met at On The Border, both as servers at the time. Lyndsay and Chance would share shifts together and would talk for hours on end. They went out to a friends birthday party and the moment Chance taught Lyndsay how to "Texas Two-Step", he stole her heart right there on the dance floor . Shortly after, they went on a date to a carnival and knew there was something special. Lyndsay and Chance started dating about a week later and could both say it's been the best 5 years of their lives.

Lyndsay and Chance took a few days off from work to escape for a while with Chance's family in Vegas. They were out there to see the legendary, George Strait, but were also looking forward to exploring Vegas as it was Lyndsay's first time in Sin City. They had plans to go to a comedy event and to have dinner at the Eiffel Tower. Before going to dinner, Chance surprised Lyndsay by taking her to the observation deck. Lyndsay and Chance walked around up there for a few moments taking in the beauty that is the Las Vegas strip. They walked around to the back side of the observation deck and Chance took Lyndsay by the hand and got down and one knee and proposed.
