Julie is my younger sister by 18 months. She graduated from South Aiken High School in 2016 and Clemson in December 2020 with a Bachelor's in International Health. We got the pleasure of living together my last year at Clemson, which I think bonded us closer. She currently works for UWePort, mostly in sales. Julie's spent a semester in Spain, is passionate about volleyball and her dog, Blue, and was in the service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega. She's caring towards others, enthusiastic about the projects she takes on, gravitates towards fun loving and comedic people, and the best giver of advice. She's been my rock through just about everything, the easiest person to talk to, and always the charismatic mediator. She'll be an amazing Maid of Honor, she's the most amazing sister. -LS
Chase Heath

Chase is a Clemson graduate with high aspirations. My brother is one of the most caring people in my life. We don’t share many similarities but have always had an unspoken bond. When people first meet me, they often confuse my name with Chase’s. A lot of the time people who call me Chase, don’t even know my brother’s name is Chase. Chase dreams big and has a heart of gold. -CH

After becoming so close in 8th grade, the nicknames "Scotty" and "Barky" had to be made to differentiate us. We both graduated South Aiken High in 2014, after years of competitive swimming year around and DECA traveling. In Spring of 2018, we both graduated from Clemson University. Lauren received a Bachelor's in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management, and was part of the Christian sorority, Sigma Alpha Omega. She's currently getting her doctorate in Occupational Therapy at MUSC in Charleston, SC as part of their class of 2024. Lauren is a dedicated friend, and has been there from the start of me and Chance. She is always bringing out the best in those around her, and striving to be the best person she can. She has a contagious laugh, and is quick to build others up. She's amazing. -LS

I have known Andrew for over 20 years, and we have been close the entire time. We met in elementary school since he was best friends with my brother. I remember when he would come over to my house to hang out with Chase and I would be the typical annoying little brother trying to hang out with the older kids. I was definitely annoying for the first few years, but we really grew to be best friends. Andrew is a genuine guy with nothing fake about him. What you see is what you get. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for him, and I know it is reciprocated. -CH

We became best friends through South Aiken High's swim team, sometime soon after I moved to Aiken, SC and stuck like glue. I'm not sure who was friends first, us or our parents, but we sure did make the most of swim meets, Clemson games, crazy DECA trips, fun runs, vacations, sleepovers, Moe's food runs, and pool days. Catherine has always been easy to talk to and quick to make friends with anyone I introduced her to. She has the brightest personality and smile, and can make you feel included in just about anything. We've endured a lot of tough times together over the years, and I would do just about anything for this girl. Catherine graduated from Clemson Dec. 2019 in nursing, worked ER in Anderson for 1.5 years, and is now a Peds nurse in Charleston, SC, living with her sweet pup! -LS

Daylin is another Clemson graduate and has the mind of an entrepreneur. Always looking to get into new business ideas with the drive to see it through. Daylin is very well known to be the most dependable of our group. He would come to your side at the drop of a hat with no questions asked. I go to him when I want the advice that I don’t want to hear, but know it is best for me. Also, if you have a couple hours, he is one of the best to have a heated debate with. Which is a nice way of saying he is as stubborn as me, if not more. -CH

We became best friends senior year at Clemson, having nearly every class together and graduating in Spring of 2018 with a Bachelors in AVS. Sav graduated Summa Cum Laude, she's incredibly smart and driven. We both moved after to MsState, where we clung like glue to one another, despite living on opposite sides of town. Sav is an absolute rock. She's someone I easily call and/or go to dinner with at least once a week, and a person you can confide just about anything to. She's incredibly competitive, she'll scream louder than anyone at a Clemson game, and you never want to be opposite her during a competition. She's originally from Charleston, SC, has a pet pig, Oliver, and is dating a great guy named Dan. She will be an amazing veterinarian and bridesmaid, like she is friend. -LS

Austin attended USC for undergrad and finished graduate school at Carnegie Melon. So, safe to say he is the smart one of our group. He has a very bright future, but hasn’t lost touch with any of his friends on his journey. Always looking for new adventures and hardly ever having time to stop and chat. However, when he does find the time to talk, you will get more than enough to make up for it. -CH
Megan DeLorenzo

We became besties through mutual friends, several classes, lake days, and briefly as my Sigma Alpha adopted little at Clemson. We kept in touch after graduation, with Meg graduating Dec. 2018, after only 3.5 years. We were reunited briefly during her MsState Vet tour, and fully reunited when she joined me at State as my vet school little AND neighbor during her 1st year. Living next to Megan was a Godsend making a difficult second year so much fun. Though she's moved across town now, she continues to be a person I seek out weekly for dinner or a night out. She's originally from Charleston, SC, and has the BEST dog, a Rhodesian Ridgeback named River. She's one of the most down to earth people around: honest, loyal, and there in a heartbeat. I truly don't know what I'd do without her. -LS
Thomas Hang

Thomas Hang is a future lawyer who graduated from USC for undergrad and law school. We originally met in elementary school and then swam together in summer league and high school. We split for a while as I went to undergrad at USC-Aiken and he went to USC but we were reunited in grad school when I joined him at USC. We became roommates for over a year and have been good friends throughout it all. Not only a groomsman because of our friendship but he could also come in handy if I were to ever get into any legal trouble. -CH
Jaymie Danford

At Clemson, we were friends- took classes together, showed cows, applied to vet school, and graduated with AVS degrees in Spring of 2018. Jaymie was also part of Alpha Phi Omega with my sister and competed in club gymnastics during her time at Clemson. During our 1st year at Mississippi St., we remained friends, but we became BEST friends early 2nd year after she reached out to me during a difficult time. Ever since, we've always been there for one another. Jaymie can put a smile on your face like no other. She's smart, has tons of hidden talents (like playing pool), and can make friends with the first person she walks into. She's originally from Myrtle Beach, SC, and has dated Jacob, another great friend, since our 2nd year of vet school. I know she'll be by my side through it all. -LS

Tyrus and I went to USC-Aiken together all through my undergrad. We were on the USC-Aiken E-sports team together for 2 years. We share the love of gaming and match each other’s competitiveness. We drive each other to be better players and people. He has a 4-year-old son named Liam that we joke is the next big gaming prodigy. -CH

We met towards the end of my 2nd Year of Vet School through Jaymie but it was probably late 2020 when we became best friends, and now very obviously life long friends. Jessi is incredibly honest and loyal. She'll take up for her friends in a heartbeat, and is quickly there for those who need her. She gives more than she realizes, and constantly put others before herself, especially where her family is involved. Every friend of Jessi's I've met has been amazing, because she surrounds herself with the most genuine people. She's originally from California, studied nursing in college, manages a boutique in Starkville, and has been married to Izaac since 2016. Those two were absolutely made for one another and are such relationship role models. She's definitely someone to have by your side. -LS
Wes Holbrook

Wes is my pastor as Cedar Creek West Church and long time family friend, along with his wife, Keli Holbrook. They have two kids: Will, who graduated high school with me and is now married to his high school sweetheart, Megan; and Hannah Holbrook who graduated with my sister. All have been great friends to us growing up. The Holbrook family has played big rolls in both me and Chance's lives, Wes actually coached Chance and Will's childhood baseball team! Chance and I also got our concealed weapons permits with Wes as our teacher at Tactical Pastor. We've been there for one another through incredibly difficult times, and I've been blessed to have met them. We are so excited to have Wes as our Officiant, and for them to share the special day with us! -LS
