We met in bible study in his home. We would stare at each other from across the room. This went on for three weeks, then Chance's father invited me to go to the golf driving range with the family. Chance and I got along very well, so from that moment on we would talk non stop. After one day of golf, Chance invited me to the movies with his family and a few people from bible study. Towards the end of the night Chance asked me to begin courting. We were courting for two months before Chance proposed to me. We will be getting married on our one year courting anniversary we are still inseparable and love spending time together.
We knew from the moment we laid eyes on each other that we would get married, so Chance took me down to the ring shop to collect ideas. I fell in love with a nice simple ring that had a matching wedding band. Although, I had no idea if Chance would give me the one ring my heart desired or the ring from his grandmother. Chance drove me insane about the proposal for months. I was getting inpatient to find out what ring I was to receive, when I would be engaged and would it be before my birthday. Chance proposed with the ring I wanted from the ring store, but used his grandmothers diamond. Very sweet and will always be cherished. He proposed before my birthday.
Chance wanted to purchase a ring off Amazon for his wedding band. I of course said go a head, but when the ring came it did not fit perfect. I knew chance was going to return the ring and order some rubber rings for work (he can not wear metal ring, because he is an electrician), however I wanted something better for a wedding band. I took the ring upon my self and figured out he wanted wood in the middle of his ring. I looked for months and finally went into a store when I had time with my mother. We asked for wooden rings and Hills Berg diamonds had one only for order because it was still a brand new design. The ring was perfect and I knew Chance would fall in love. The next day I took my best friend Rachel (maid of honor) to the mall with me and she helped me make the purchase. I guessed on Chances ring size. I had intended to keep the ring a secret until the wedding day. However, I had a feeling to take Chance to the mall to try on his ring; lucky I had him try the ring on because it was a tiny bit to small. We had it reordered and engraved again. The ring is in our hands and Chance loves his new wedding band.
