Chance and I first met when we were just little kids; our dads were friends and worked for the same police department in our hometown of Show Low, AZ. We ran the same PD halls, and belonged to the same blue-line family, but it wasn't until later that we became friends. In 2019 Chance moved to Texas to follow his lifelong dream of becoming a police officer and we talked almost every day. In August of 2020, we realized things didn't feel like we were just "good friends" anymore, and on August 19th, 2020 we started dating. Come January 2021, I moved from Arizona to Texas so that we could be together. I got into nursing school there which I started and graduated from in May of 2023; and on my graduation trip to the Bahamas, Chance proposed over the Caribbean Sea on May 21, 2023.
