It feels like yesterday that Matthew and I met at Logan's Roadhouse, almost 8 years ago. From the very beginning, there was an undeniable connection. We both shared a love for fitness, and it didn’t take long for us to find ourselves hanging out at the gym together. Those early days were filled with laughter, encouragement, and a shared drive to be our best selves. Soon after, Matt asked me out on our first official date to Villa Romana. Little did I know then, but this would become our tradition—every year for our anniversary, we return to that same restaurant, celebrating the bond that’s grown stronger with each passing year. Adventure is at the heart of our relationship. Our first trip together took us to Gatlinburg, a place that would soon become one of our favorite getaways. It wasn’t just about the places we visited, but the experiences we shared—the memories that have shaped our love and our life together. And Gatlinburg was just the beginning of many more trips, each one adding a new chapter to our story. One of the best surprises came one Christmas when Matt brought home our sweet fur baby, Luna Maze. She was the perfect addition to our family, and her presence has brought so much joy, laughter, and unconditional love into our lives. Another milestone that holds a special place in our hearts was when we took a trip to Boston to celebrate my survival of nursing school. The journey wasn’t easy, but it was one we made together, side by side. That trip marked not just the end of a chapter, but the beginning of many more to come. Then, came the most magical moment of all. Matt, knowing how much I adored New York City, chose to propose to me with the iconic skyline of the city and the beauty of Central Park as the backdrop. The moment he asked me to marry him was everything I had ever dreamed of—and more. Surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the city I love, he promised me forever. Now, as we look ahead to this next chapter in our lives, we are filled with excitement and anticipation.
