Matron of Honor
I met Raizza when I was living in Nicaragua in 2016. She came down to serve for a week with Crossroads Church and we quickly became friends. She returned back to Nicaragua later that same year and this time brought her husband, Victor, who is Pablo's older brother. Our friendship solidified when I moved back to Cincinnati and joined a Hispanic small group they started called 'Juntos' which is Spanish for 'together.' Over the years they have welcomed me as a member of their family and I am godmother to their youngest daughter. I am thankful to call her not only my friend, but now my sister.

Kate and I are 21 months apart, although she would always be mistaken for my older sister. When we were kids, we would spend hours creating elaborate Barbie mansions in our basement and here we were dressed up for an impromptu luau in the backyard. Kate has grown from my younger sister, to one of my closest friends and I am thankful for her being there with me on this special day.
Bridesmaid
Sarah is my oldest sister and the first of our 5 siblings. She helped forge the way for each of us coming after her and always made sure we were taken care of. For me, Sarah helped make sure I knew how to use my first combination lock before I went to high school and took me around school before freshman year to make sure I knew how to get to all of my classes. She also worked at the local deli down the street from our home and welcomed me into my first job there while I was in high school. Growing up, Sarah always had seasoned advice for how to navigate the many ups and downs of life and always charging down the path of life first, I look up to her example and am thankful for her being with me today.
Bridesmaid
Maria may be my youngest sister but the truth is that I look up to her quite a bit in my own life. Several years ago, Maria decided to take up running and like the competitive athlete that she is, aspired to run marathons. I remember going to watch her first marathon race and was so inspired by her training and accomplishment that it inspired me to train for my first half marathon the following year. Over the years our relationship has played out in a similar way, oftentimes Maria, or Bean as I like to call her, has taught me life lessons and shown me wisdom far beyond her years. I am thankful for our friendship and for her presence in my life.
