NJ Transit Trains from Manhattan to New Bridge Landing
Our friends joining us from New York City who prefer not to drive can take an NJ Transit train from Penn Station to the New Bridge Landing station in River Edge, with one transfer at Secaucus. Generally, you should plan to get to New Bridge Landing no later than 5 PM. The New Bridge Landing station is a four minute Uber ride or 15 minute walk from Sanzari's New Bridge Inn. Currently, the last train back to Manhattan from New Bridge Landing leaves at 8:50 PM, so you may want to take an alternate way home instead so you can stay for cake! You could take an Uber to the Radburn train station, which has trains going back to Manhattan as late as midnight.
