FAQs

The Wedding Website of Julie Phu and Ken Chambers Jr
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by Sep 1, 2026 so we can finalize all the details. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Garden chic with a relaxed elegance - semi-formal or cocktail attire in soft, earthy tones like beige, green, brown, and champagne. Think light fabrics, refined silhouettes, and colors that blend beautifully with the natural setting. The wedding is in an outdoor setting and Vietnam might be hotter than what you're used to, so light, breathable fabrics will be most comfortable for you!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Children are absolutely welcome to join the celebration. We can’t wait to see your little ones there.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! Just note any allergies or dietary needs on your RSVP, and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of. Your comfort (and safety!) matter to us.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

You’ll find all of our recommended accommodations on the ‘Travel’ page. We especially suggest staying at An Lam Resort the night before and after the wedding so you can fully enjoy the celebration. We’ve also listed additional hotel options for the rest of your trip if you’re exploring the area.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We’ve got you covered! A boat will be taking guests to An Lam Resort for the ceremony. If you’re not staying at the resort, stay tuned, we’ll share the exact pickup spot and departure time soon.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We’ve got a few celebrations sprinkled around the big day, and we’d love to have you there! Take a peek at the ‘Schedule’ tab to see what’s happening, and don’t forget to RSVP so we know you’re joining the fun. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Do I need a visa to travel to Vietnam?

Answer

Most nationalities need a visa to enter Vietnam, so please check Vietnam’s official e-visa information for your passport. The easiest option is to apply for a Vietnam e-visa, which can be done online. The e-visa is typically valid for up to 90 days (single or multiple entry). We recommend applying at least 3–4 weeks before travel. Once approved, you’ll receive your e-visa by email. Please print a copy and keep it with you when traveling. Apply for Vietnam e‑Visa (Official Site) here: https://evisa.gov.vn
