As of now the COVID cases on the area are very low and we would like to keep it that way! There have been no restrictions set for the venue other than maximum attendance. Out of an abundance of caution, however, we would like everyone to have a recent negative test (within 7 days) or proof of vaccination available should it become required. We will update this section if information changes. We will also be providing masks for those who wish to wear them and will have hand sanitizer available.
The ceremony and reception will be at Godric Grove located in Eling's Park, so there are many parking spots available. The venue itself is situated at the top of a hill with a smaller parking lot so top of the hill parking will be limited. We encourage guests to take advantage of the shuttles available or use Uber/Lyft if you do not want to risk having to walk up a hill.
The shuttle will be leaving from our hotel (Mason Beach Inn) starting at 1:00 pm, with the last shuttle for guests leaving at 2:30. For the return trip the shuttle will start pick up at 9:00 pm with the last shuttle leaving at 10:30.
Our reception will be a taco bar with 4 different fillings available (Asada, Chicken, Chorizo and Veggies) with chips and salsa to start. We would love you all to join us during our cocktail hour after the ceremony where snacks and beer and wine will be provided. There will be an open bar with beer, wine and two signature cocktails, cash tips are appreciated. We are also providing non-alcoholic drinks as well, lemonade and soda (thats "pop" to you midwesterners).
There are a number of great hotels in the Santa Barbara but we will be staying at the Mason Beach Inn and we would love if you stay there with us! There are some other great options nearby such as the Lemon Tree Inn or the Orange Tree Inn and the Presidio. Just keep in mind the shuttle will be running from the Mason Beach Inn.
Santa Barbara has its own airport just 15 minutes away from the downtown area, if possible we recommend flying directly to Santa Barbara so you can Uber/Lyft to your hotel. We checked and there are many flights from all over the country that fly to Santa Barbara. Of course LAX will have the cheapest and most direct flights but it is about an hour and a half away from Santa Barbara.
