We are asking that all guests arrive in Belize by Thursday, May 18th at the latest. *We will be arriving on Wednesday, May 17th. The boat leaves Placentia, Belize the morning of Friday, May 19th & the boat only goes to the island once a day.
Yes. We've provided 3 hotel options in the "Travel" section that you can book. We will not be managing these reservations since some people will be arriving on the 17th and others on the 18th. Keep in mind, that we are leaving Placentia for the private island on May 19th, so just make sure your check-out date from the Placencia hotel reflects this.
1. You will be taking an international flight to Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) 2. Once you get through customs, you will take a short 30-minute regional flight from BZE to Placentia Airport (PLJ) *Be sure to book your regional flight at least 2 hours after you land* 3. Book a hotel in Placentia - we recommend staying in this city for 2 nights prior to going to the island. The boat to Ray Caye leaves from a dock in Placentia. *We will be staying from May 17th and checking out on May 19th at Itz'ana. 4. 45-minute boat ride to Ray Caye Island on the morning of May 19th.
Although we would love to include your children in our celebration, due to limited capacity on the island, this will be an adults-only event.
There will not be a ceremony in Belize. Our wish is just to celebrate our marriage and experience Ray Caye with our friends and family. No formal attire will be required.
