Once upon a time, in a neighborhood bar in Bridgeport, Cham and Josh’s paths crossed. She was running late (an hour and a half to be specific) and he was debating whether to order one more beer or three. Cham: I first met Josh at Maria’s last May 25, 2024. I will always remember that day. I ran my first 10k that morning and my mom was in town so I spent the rest of the afternoon with her. I moved our meet up time 3 times. I have no idea how many beers he had exactly but I’m glad he waited. Who would’ve thought that exactly 2 years and a day later, we’d end up getting married. Josh: We met on Hinge and agreed to meet at Maria’s. Cham was a little more late than an hour and a half. Sitting at the bar by myself, a little embarrassed and assuming I had become a victim of someone’s joke, then walked in the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen. Within the first few moments, I knew I found what I’ve been looking for. (I would’ve asked her to marry me right there if I thought it would work) After a few drinks, we separated paths. The next day I woke up thinking maybe the feeling I had had something to do with how many drinks I had the two hours I sat alone at the bar but it turned out the hazy ipas had nothing to do with it. Over the next few months, we became best friends and soul mates and now we’re going to spend the rest of our lives together and I feel like the luckiest guy on earth. I can’t wait to celebrate it with all the most important people in our lives. Their first conversation that night lasted longer than either expected, filled with laughter and a shared love for weekend road trips. Over time, they became each other's favorite travel companion, food buddies and fun fur parents. And now, they're planning their biggest adventure yet —married life.
