Is Alice taking Chris' name?

Answer

Alice will be going by Ms Simpkin. Please avoid Mr & Mrs cards if possible :)

What COVID-19 precautions are being taken?

Answer

To ensure the health of our vulnerable guests, we have taken the difficult decision that all guests will need to be double vaccinated for COVID-19 - unless medically exempt or too young. We believe we have spoken to all invited guests that this unfortunately affects, please let us know if this changes your plans by giving us a call or letting us know via invites@chalicetietheknot.com.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Although we are no longer a summer wedding, we are sticking to our bright and fun theme! Dress to impress! Please dress as colourfully as possible!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

If you are a day guest, please get to the venue for 1pm. If you are an evening guest, please arrive from 7:30pm.

Will there be food?

Answer

Canapés will be served after the ceremony, followed by a wedding breakfast, and evening food later in the night.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

Answer

Please bring a pair of gloves to participate in the sparklers.

Does the venue have parking?

Answer

Yes there is onsite parking.

Question

What happens if the weather is rubbish?

Answer

The wedding ceremony is inside and Redcoats have a heated & covered outdoor area. At the moment the weather forecast is looking cloudy during the day and rain in the evening.

I'm staying over at the venue, what is the latest can I checkout on Saturday?

Answer

Unfortunately late checkout is not available, as there is a wedding on Saturday 6th November. The latest you can checkout is 11am. Breakfast is served from 8-10am.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all! However, we know that many of you would like to celebrate with something more. We have set up a honeymoon pot for any contributions to our dream honeymoon in Japan. To make a contribution just click on 'GIFT REGISTRY' at the top of the page. Thank you!

Is Alice baking the wedding cake?

Answer

NO! Are you mad?! We are using a wonderful local baker.
