Once upon a time we worked at the same elementary school. Neither of us paid each other any attention. Then, one day, Chalandra decided to teach all the way in West Palm Beach. After only a few months of Chalandra teaching in Palm Beach, Marc realized someone was missing and fortunately for us it didn't take very long because we ended up reconnecting through online dating. Initially he told me he was just reaching out to say hi to a familiar face, but I had my suspicions. On our first date Chalandra got lost. The best part is, she got lost in a parking lot. In a short matter of time it became very clear that we were meant to be in each other's lives. We go together like cookies n cream, Mickey and Minnie, socks and sneakers. We are excited to share our special day with all of you.

On Thursday, December 28, 2023, we spent the day building a Lego car and watching old movies. Later that evening, before heading out to dinner, we were all dressed up, and Marc asked his brother Steven to take a picture of us. My thoughts were for what we always eat dinner, lol. Before I knew it, Marc was kneeling to ask me to marry him, and I excitedly said YES!
