Wash Park
One of Sarah's favorite places for a walk! Enjoy the beautiful park with peeps of mountain views in the distance and stop for a picnic lunch. Denver's oldest and most historic block, featuring boutique shops, eateries, and nightlife.
Union Station
A beautifully restored train station housing cafes, bars, and shops—a great spot to relax and people-watch.
Denver Art Museum
Known for its impressive collection of Native American and Western art.
Denver Museum of Nature & Science
Offers fascinating exhibits on everything from dinosaurs to space exploration.
Eldorado Canyon
Sarah took her first hike in Colorado on the Fowler trail. An easy 1 mile out and back hike features beautiful rock displays, small waterfalls, and beautiful scenery. Keep in mind the drive to the Eldorado Canyon State Park goes through a small town, you did not make a wrong turn when you get to the town!
Coors Brewery Tour
Just outside Denver, offering tours of one of the largest breweries in the world.
Craft Beer Scene
Denver is famous for its breweries. Consider tours at Great Divide Brewing Co., Denver Beer Co., or Wynkoop Brewing Company.
Boulder
Boulder hosts a ton of activities, sights, and shopping. We recommend heading up for a day to take a hike in the area, hit up Pearl Street for shopping, and finishing the night at a local brewery.
Red Rocks
A Colorado visit staple, Red Rocks offers beautiful views and, during the day, an opportunity to walk around on the stage at the bottom. We recommend going in the morning as the amphitheater closes at 2 pm on the days there is a concert.
Rocky Mountain National Park
About an hour and a half away, great for hiking and wildlife viewing.
Estes Park
Check out one of our favorite mountain towns and likely see the Colorado wildlife! Timed entry is still in effect, be sure to book entry times early.
Pikes Peak
Drive up or take the cog railroad up to the top of Pikes Peak to check out the stunning view of the continental divide.
Garden of Gods
Walk around this beautiful park at the base of the Pikes Peak route.
