Meanwhile, Rayan, a recent graduate from Lebanon, who had moved to Charlotte for a new beginning in banking, was out for a midday stroll with colleagues. As they crossed paths, they helplessly admired each other with infatuation. Time seemed to stand still as their gazes intertwined. A moment of unspoken connection that neither could break. Rayan continued past while still looking over his shoulder at Melanie, captivated yet speechless. He couldn't quite find the words to approach this mesmerizing woman. Perplexed by the encounter, Rayan was lost in thought musing about what seemed to him like a vision or a heavenly sign. Unbeknownst to him, Melanie had recognized Rayan from a dating app where their paths had virtually crossed. Taking a leap of faith, she reached out with a playful message questioning whether it was indeed him she had seen. It was a nudge by destiny that Rayan could hardly believe.
