Known for his short game and not his shots off the deck, Ethan tries his best to keep up with his little brother, the groom, on the golf course and also in his card games such as Euchre. He's known the groom longer than the groom can remember as he is the eldest brother to 3 and is known for listening and giving straight forward advice. Loving father and compassionate brother. Be sure to find him after his speech and remind him how good it was.
Alexandra Sabiston
Matron of Honor
Alex has been Alyssa’s best friend since 9th grade, and they've been inseparable ever since. As roommates for 7 years, they’ve mastered the art of living together without killing each other, mostly thanks to Alex’s ability to make Alyssa laugh until she can’t breathe. People used to joke that they’d end up getting married—until Alex married Derek, of course! Now, even though their relationship is long distance, they still find ways to stay connected and laugh together. Hilarious, witty, and always ready to turn any situation into an adventure, Alex is the friend who’s seen it all, heard it all, and still loves Alyssa anyway. Alyssa is beyond grateful to have Alex by her side, adding her own brand of comedy and chaos to the big day!

Younger brother to the groom, but definitely the wiser of the two. Logan is often giving the comical relief that with a minor head tilt reminding us that that idea isn't all that farfetched. He will be the one nervous to speak to a whole crowd but light up the room in a group conversation. If you need help finding him, listen for the purest laugh and look for the brightest smile.

Perry is Alyssa’s sister-in-law, but as Brooke likes to remind us, she was Perry’s friend first! Perry has been a cherished part of the family long before she and Johnny tied the knot, and her presence has always been a source of love, laughter, and support. Alyssa loves her dearly and is beyond thrilled to have her standing by her side on this special day. Perry’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering friendship make her an irreplaceable part of this journey, and Alyssa couldn’t imagine celebrating without her!

Cecily is Chadd’s youngest sister, and from the moment Alyssa met her, they became instant friends. With her hilarious sense of humor, sharp sarcasm, and no-nonsense attitude, Cecily is always the one to keep things real and lighten the mood. She’s been an amazing help to Alyssa, especially when it comes to picking out outfits and making sure everything is just right for the big day. Johnny and the groom first met during a road trip to visit the bride’s family -at the time, neither thought they would be auditioning for a future brother-in-law or groomsman status. Over the years, he has shown the groom what it means to be a dedicated husband, dad, and all-around great guy. Johnny is ready to bring laughter, good vibes, and plenty of perfectly timed Family Guy one-liners to the big day.

Amiee is a bridesmaid who can do it all: dance like nobody’s watching, pour the perfect Manhattan, and stay undefeated at Catan. She’s a ray of sunshine with an unmatched ability to see the best in every situation and has graciously mentored the bride in the fine art of being a Griesemer. She’s a sister, mother, and friend who truly does it all -Amiee makes any moment better. We’re thrilled she’s here to add her special spark to the celebration!

John and Chadd met for the first time when him and Chadd's future Sister-In-Law came to visit Colorado. When they were all driving a couple hours south to do some tourist stuff, with a car packed with future in-laws, he asked from the front seat, "Hey Chadd, what are your intentions with my sister?" John has been a straight forward gentleman who is constantly putting others before himself. We are looking forward to your continuous support and guidance starting that day you asked Chadd the big question.

Ben has been a part of our family for the better half of a decade and brings an authenticity and vibrancy that are truly unmatched. His unwavering sense of self and genuine kindness, unconditional love to his partner, the groom’s brother, have been a source of inspiration for everyone fortunate enough to know him. Whether he’s sharing a meaningful conversation or bursting into an impromptu song and dance, Ben has a way of lifting spirits and reminding us to celebrate life. Dana is the bride’s cousin but has always been more like a sister—one with an incredible way with words and even better taste in food, music, and fashion. She’s the kind of person who can effortlessly curate a chic dinner party or make a dive bar feel like the hottest spot in town. Usually found being fabulous in Chicago, Dana is taking a break from city life to help us tie the knot in Detroit, and we couldn’t be more excited. With her blend of elegance and down-to-earth charm, we know the ceremony is in the best hands.

Max is Alyssa and Chadd’s oldest nephew, and he holds a special place in their hearts. With his sharp wit, big heart, and adventurous spirit, Max is always ready to bring fun and energy to any gathering. Whether he’s impressing the family with his skills on the drums or his passion for sports, Max is an absolute joy to be around.
