The Wedding Website of Samantha Corrinne and Chad Corrinne
Chesterwood is the former summer home, studio, and gardens of American sculptor Daniel Chester French (1850–1931), who is best known for creating two of our nation’s most powerful symbols: Abraham Lincoln for the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. and the Minute Man at the Old North Bridge in Concord, Massachusetts. Daniel Chester French was one of the most successful artists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. My father has worked at the property for 45 years. I lived on the property for many years of my childhood in the little red house across the street from the main house. My favorite memories from living on the property were the weekends there were weddings. Mom and I would walk up our long dirt driveway, past the fields of cows and peek from behind the trees and bushes at all the beautiful weddings that were taking place. I would dream about the day my Dad would walk me down that aisle lined with blossoming hydrangeas and surrounded by lush, beautiful gardens.
For all the days along the way
