Chad and Jackie met a couple times prior to actually having a conversation with each other. They just went our own ways while hanging with their friends and each had different views on life. Never did Jackie think she would have been interested in Chad, however, all of sudden it happened. Our story truly began on St Patty's Day in 2018. Our mutual friend Brett, invited both of us over to go with a group of friends on our own little Bar Crawl to celebrate the Holiday. Throughout the day we slowly began talking, and actually had fun and quirky but good conversations. On the way to one of the last bars Jackie stopped Chad, and said, "You're cute!" and then kissed him. Chad looked confused and shocked-so Jackie just ran ahead to meet up with the group to chat with the other friends who were there. The next week flew by and Jackie had plans to meet up with Brett again Saturday to go out, she was with family who was in town visiting. Chad messaged Jackie and asked "Have you heard from Brett, when we all going to meet up?" Brett nor I actually invited Chad yet, he just knew we were hanging out and wanted to meet up. Jackie told him in an hour. We all met at Brett's and went out. Chad dropped Brett and Jackie off at Brett's house, before he went back home. Jackie sat in the car a little longer and tried to talk to Chad, but he was quiet and very shy. She kissed him again, thinking, well I will try one more time. Chad again shocked and not knowing what to say or do. He went home. And Jackie went to bed, as she was thinking, I guess he isn't into me! The next morning however, Jackie woke up to a long text from Chad, saying he is a shy guy, and not very smooth with the ladies, and really wanted to talk and see if there was something there. After days of non stop messages Chad finally asked Jackie on a date, and the rest was history!

On April 13th Jackie and Chad took a trip to Milwaukee. They had planned a day of going to a couple breweries, and make an adventure with Jackie's friends Natalie and Joe! First on the plan was Lake Front brewery. The 4 of them went on a tour, and then enjoyed a couple brews. They decided to go to the domes in Milwaukee as something new to do, all enjoyed the neat place, and the different climate areas. One area was closed for remodel. After the domes, all went to Miller Brewery to do the tour, a lot of walking but enjoyed all the history of the place. Nothing was set in place for the next adventure, so Joe had the idea to go to this pretty park on Lake Michigan. We walked through the park, very pretty, but very cold. The wind started to blow, and of course Jackie wanted to leave because she was cold and was not dressed for the occasion. Next we went to dinner, Jackie just wanted the day to be done, as Chad and Jackie got a hotel for the night. All Jackie wanted to do was go swimming and hit the hot tub. But of course, that was a no, and the gang had to go downtown Milwaukee by the Art Museum. Again it was cold, and Jackie got crabby. She started walking back to the car, and Chad then got down on one knee and asked the most important question of their lives. "WILL YOU MARRY ME?" Jackie started smiling and shaking and of course said, "YES!" Long story short Chad wanted to do it in the area of the Domes that was under construction and he didn't know until the group got there. Then that is why we went to the pretty park and walked around, however Chad did not think it was good enough. He was feeling defeated and with the city lights and the lake in the background it set up for a pretty amazing night!
