Flight
We recommend renting a car no matter which airport you fly into. Obviously, traffic can change the time estimates provided below! Dulles (IAD) is the closest of the DC airports; a little less than a 2-hour drive to Orange, VA. Regan (DCA) is also a good option; a little over 2-hour drive to Orange, VA. Charlottesville (CHO) is the closest of all, but there are a limited number of flights that operate from this airport; about a 30-minute drive to Orange, VA.
