Chad and Brittanie’s story began long before either of them realized it. They first met at East Carolina University as Finance majors during their junior year, sharing small classes, competitive investment challenges, and the pressure of chasing internships, all while quietly noticing each other along the way. Between late nights, demanding coursework, and big career dreams, they pushed through college and eventually graduated together, ready for whatever came next. After graduation, life took them in different directions. They focused on careers, traveled, and grew into themselves. Then, in true life fashion, their paths crossed again. Chad moved to Raleigh, where Brittanie was living, and in late summer of 2023 they went on their first official date. That night came with a shared confession that they had both had a little crush back in college. From there, everything felt easy, like picking up a story that had been waiting to be written. Their relationship quickly filled with adventure and comfort. They spent weekends in the mountains, took coastal getaways, traveled as far as Washington State and Colorado, and enjoyed quiet nights at home. Their families and friends blended naturally, Chad became a first time dog dad to Barron, and together they perfected the now famous Barron, Chad, and Brittanie "B-C-B" sandwich. Most importantly, they began building a life grounded in shared values, big dreams, and a hopeful vision for the future. In October 2025, on top of Grandfather Mountain, Chad asked Brittanie to spend forever with him. Surrounded by the mountains and the promise of everything ahead, she said yes. The best is yet to come.
