Ashley invited two friends to a Braves game on Friday August 16, 2019. Ashley and her friends did not pay attention to the game, instead they walked around while catching up and laughing about old stories. Chad's friend invited him to the Braves vs. Dodgers game on August 16, 2019. The two had great seats; however, his friend insisted on visiting coworkers at the Chophouse. Reluctantly, Chad agreed and the two remained at the Chophouse the entire game. Near the middle of the game, Ashley made her way up the stairs to the Chophouse holding a lukewarm Leinenkugel Summer Shandy (that she'd been pretending to drink). Immediately Chad caught Ashley's attention- mainly because he was staring. She gave him a slight smile and squeezed her way to the front row facing the field. Chad was standing alone for a majority of the game as his friend was socializing with coworkers. The Braves weren't playing well and Chad began to feel annoyed, but his focus changed the moment he noticed Ashley. He was intrigued by her, and she gave him a smile. Chad knew he had to talk to her. Chad eventually found an excuse to talk to Ashley and it wasn't ten minutes into the conversation before Ashley knew Chad was amazing. The connection was instant, as if they had known each other their entire lives. Before they knew it, Ashley and Chad ran off together and snuck down to lower levels to watch the end of the game. The game concluded, and the two stayed to watch the Friday night fireworks. As the fireworks began to burst in the sky and the music pulsated through the stadium, Ashley and Chad had their first kiss. Ashley and Chad both felt that finding each other seemed "too good to be true", and the two have been inseparable ever since. Chad proposed to Ashley 574 days later and the two cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives making amazing memories together.
