We're getting married!

It was the third Saturday in October - UT vs. Alabama (2015). KP and her co-worker, Joey Gordon, decided it would be a great idea to gather their rivaled friends for a watch party at a local sports bar in Hillsboro Village - Double Dogs, of course! The game was close, and all were in good spirits when Chad showed up and decided to make his way over to where the orange met the crimson. Joey was keenly aware of Chad’s “type” and therefore introduced us, knowing we’d immediately hit it off. After a devastating Tennessee loss, we decided to part ways... but not before exchanging contact information. Chad asked KP to drinks a few days later, and the rest is history!

While living in Las Vegas, one of our favorite Saturday activities was hiking in the Red Rock Canyon. To Kristin's surprise, Chad had been planning this particular Saturday for quite some time. The morning of, he excitedly asked "ready to go!?" to which she replied "no, I'd rather stay in and have a lazy day". "Come on, it will be good for us" he pleaded... so off we went! When we reached the furthest part of the canyon, we sat down to take in the views. Chad then began his very thoughtful speech, ending with him on one knee and Kristin in a pool of tears trying to get out a “YES!”. On the way home, while FaceTiming friends and family, Chad revealed that he had a romantic evening planned for us at the Eiffel Tower on the strip. To this day, that was the most beautiful and intimate date experience we've ever had - a perfect start to forever!
