A nice walking trail on the east side of Green Bay along Baird Creek. We love taking Han for walks there.
The zoo is a great outdoor excursion to see all sorts of animals (HELLO PENGUINS <3). If heights are your thing, check out the zip-line!
More nature filled than the zoo, but a beautiful way to see creatures that are more native to the area. They have a wolf habitat as well as a deer habitat. From their website, "The Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary is a beautiful 600 acre urban wildlife refuge. It is also Green Bay’s largest city park. The Sanctuary is open to the public year ’round with no admission fee."
If you've got some time to spare we highly recommend checking out this arcade bar in Appleton. A favorite spot for both of us because while Chad plays the video games (you can usually find him playing Off Road) I can play a bit of pinball or watch awesome/terrible 80s movies.
Margaritas. Enough said.
We love this restaurant for the fun atmosphere provided by the staff and owners. The food and drinks are worth the trip, too.
Gorgeous falls right off the highway, just outside of Green Bay. We often stop here on a whim to see what the falls are doing. We took a few of our engagement photos here as well.
