Harpers Ferry National Historical Park

Harpers Ferry National Historical Park

171 Shoreline Drive, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425

Harpers Ferry is a quaint little historical town that sits on two rivers. You can enjoy the town, walk along the river, or hike Maryland Heights trail for a gorgeous overlook of the town and rivers.

River & Trail - Shenandoah Tubing | Park & Paddle Adventures Location

River & Trail - Shenandoah Tubing | Park & Paddle Adventures Location

90 Millville Road, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425
, (301) 834-9950

Cool off & take few lazy floats down the Shenandoah River. I personally recommend some water shoes and bringing some kayak leashes to ensure your group’s tubes all stay together! You can rent a cooler tube for your drinks & snacks as well. ;)

C&O Canal Lock 43

C&O Canal Lock 43

Chesapeake and Ohio Canal Towpath, Williamsport, MD 21795
, (301) 739-4200

We have spent many days/mornings walking along the C&O canal and Potomac River! There is plenty of parking at this location. If you’re in the mood for fishing or kayaking you can bring your gear - there is a boat launch at this location as well.

Brix27 Restaurant and Wine Bar

Brix27 Restaurant and Wine Bar

131 North Queen Street, Martinsburg, WV 25401

This restaurant is perfect for modern fine dining with a contemporary/loft atmosphere and excellent wine selection. We recommend reservations. Parking is metered along the street.

Harpers Ferry Brewing

Harpers Ferry Brewing

37412 Adventure Center Lane, Purcellville, VA 20132
, (571) 420-2161

For some tasting & beautiful views, head over to Harpers Ferry Brewing! There might even be some live music & food trucks there.

Blue Moon Cafe

Blue Moon Cafe

200 East High Street, Shepherdstown, WV 25404
, (304) 876-1920

This cafe has a really nice outdoor seating area/courtyard. They are known for their sandwiches & fries, offer some healthy options, and has a funky college town vibe. It’s one of our favorite places! We do recommend reservations as it’s quite the popular place among locals. Right down the street you can walk to a boat launch/picnic area along the Potomac River too!

Cinco de Mayo Bar and Restaurant

Cinco de Mayo Bar and Restaurant

5724 Hammonds Mill Road, Martinsburg, WV 25404
, (304) 271-8887

For some casual Mexican fare, we love Cinco De Mayo! It has plenty of parking and a great contemporary atmosphere.

For all the days along the way
