On April 19, 2019 the lovely couple met at the most magical place on earth, Disneyland. On that day they both fell in love. Just like a fairytale, the two could not dream about being apart and soon turned that dream into a reality. On December 11, 2021 they got engaged and are now waiting for the day they finally start their happily ever after.

Josiah proposed to Ciara at their special place, Lodi lake. It was almost sunset and the water was still. The walkway on the dock was covered in sparkles, rose petals and lined with candles. At the end of the dock you could see Josiah standing and at the other end... Ciara was sprinting full speed into his arms. Then it happened! He got on one knee and pulled out a little black box. Ciara said "YES!" Josiah proposed with a raised pear cut diamond, with a diamond halo and diamond band, Ciara's dream wedding ring. That night, the happy engaged couple celebrated with family and close friends.

- They both love listening to jazz on long car rides - When the couple first met, they and a few of their college friends would always stargaze. Josiah would find the brightest star and tell Ciara, "See the brightest star? Nothing compared to you." I mean if that doesn't make your heart go pitter patter I dont know what will - They enjoy building legos while watching movies - Filipino food, Asian food, sushi & ramen are always their go to foods - On their very first date they talked about marrying each other! - They would write love letters in college every week! It was mostly Ciara, but Josiah would occasionally write one - In college, Josiah and Ciara would have themed dates based on different countries. Every course was a food from that country (homemade of course). They would then finish their date with a movie that took place in that country - Whenever they go ice skating, they love to race and see who is faster. They are currently at a tie - Josiah has Ciara's soon to be initials embroidered inside his suits so she's always close to his heart - Whenever Ciara goes somewhere far without him, she takes one of his handkerchiefs so he feels closer
