When two awkward, nerdy teenagers met nearly 12 years ago, they fanaticized about being there for each other on their wedding days. The two grew close while they navigated high school together; ultimately, they both ended up in NYC for college. They shared the up's and down's of life, standing by each other along the way. And while they ended up in different cities at times, whenever they met up, it was as if no time had passed. When Vivian told Christa she thought her new boyfriend, Jay, was the 'one,' Christa was skeptical at first. However, once she met Jay, she could not imagine anyone more perfect for Vivian. Now their childhood dreams have been realized and Christa could not be happier to stand by her best friend as she marries such an incredible man.

Taekyung "TK" Kim met Jay back in 2008 almost exactly 10 years ago in high school. They went to both high school and college together as roommates. Over the years their friendship grew stronger--they shared not only clothes and shoes but more importantly their teenage years. From Dobbs Ferry, NY to Middletown, CT and now NYC, Jay and TK have grown up from being reckless high school kids to adults. Over countless shots of tequila, bottles of soju, and drunken nights in Koreatown, they became brothers. TK has had the pleasure of knowing the couple from the beginning and he is extremely proud of his brother and thankful to Vivian.

They say you get to know someone best when you travel with them. Well, Vivian and Catie have ventured to London, Vegas, and Punta Cana together and there was no shortage of get-to-know-each-other moments. From pub crawls and fancy dinners to spa dates and Chilean wine nights--the two met when they started working for the same company and quickly became friends while enjoying Chipotle and free draft beers from the office. Catie used to spend a lot of time calling Vivian to make sure she was awake and on her way to the meeting, office, or airport...but then Vivian met Jay and the calls became more about "let's go get brunch!", "we're coming over to use your rooftop pool" and "KEMPS!". The two are a match made in Heaven and Catie has been thrilled to be apart of their blossoming love story.

Stephen first met Jay during Labor Day weekend of 2015. Jay’s ability to command attention, witty but warm humor, and charming persona all turned Stephen off initially, but he eventually gave in, knowing he had found a lifelong friend in the process. Over the years they found solace and support in each other, helped each other through difficult periods, and made countless memories. When Vivian entered Jay's life, Stephen knew their lifestyles would change, but he wasn't worried. The couple became the ultimate support pillars for each other, and Stephen has enjoyed watching every moment from the front seat. He knows he'll probably never experience the version of Jay that he first encountered, but his heart is full knowing who Jay is now and who he will become in his lifelong journey.

Salvatore Franchino

Salvatore "Sal" Franchino and Vivian met during their freshman year at NYU and have been wine-drinking buddies ever since. They bonded over a shared love for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and shared many delicious meals across the city together. Sal was the first one to introduce Vivian to the world of fine dining, spoiling her to many of the Michelin starred restaurants in NYC. Their friendship grew strong enough over the years that they actually thought it would be a good idea to live with each other. While Sal is sad Vivian now lives in different a borough, he is ecstatic that Vivian and Ho Jae are starting a beautiful life together.

Kristen met Jay in a "Teaching Writing" class in grad school. While waiting outside for class to start one evening, she and Jay, as well as a few others, started talking about how awful the class was. Kristen had been suffering in silence and was elated to discover that she was not alone! The rest of the semester was made bearable by Jay's regular commentary and vocal criticisms of their professor. Once Jay and Vivian met, they started double dating with Kristen and her boyfriend Ghanem. The four became closer over dinners, late nights, and debauchery. Kristen is overjoyed that Jay and Vivian have found each other and look forward to many more double dates in the future!

Lisa and Vivian met at a New York based running club called SRC. After many weekends of running and drinking together, Lisa realized that she knows someone who is basically the male version of Vivian—his name was Hojae. Lisa knew Hojae since high school and they have been like siblings since. As cliche as it may sound, Lisa knew that Vivian and Hojae were perfect for each other. She was determined make the greatest match-making come true. After two years, Lisa is excited to see the two getting married and feels proud to have introduced them on that one summer night that made everything come true. From a running crew to bridal crew, she is happy to be by Vivian's side on what will be the most beautiful and unforgettable wedding.

Christian first met HoJae when they were assigned as roommates for the Dream Careers internship program back in 2013. That summer was one of the best summers of Christian's life and a lot of that was because of HoJae. He knew all the great spots in the city which Christian is thankful for because he definitely had no clue about anything in New York. They clicked pretty instantly, having the same interest in the NBA and having an eye for fashion, bonding over pickup basketball games after work, eating pizza slices at Bravos, and, of course, catching a playoff game at the Pourhouse. It fills Christian's heart knowing HoJae has found a lifelong partner in Vivian and he's grateful he can be a part of their union.
