Samuel and Chabria's love story began at InterVarsity's Spring Break Urban Plunge Trip in Baltimore, MD. They didn't immediately rush to speak to each other but observed each other from afar. After passing glances, causal conversations, and a wild game of Mafia, Samuel finally saw his opening to speak to her for real. See, Samuel knew Chabria as "Bria," because she didn't reveal her full name until the last day of the trip. When she shared her name, he knew he had something to talk to her about. Smooth, right? So, Samuel asked her about her name, and they began one of many deep, honest and vulnerable conversations with each other. As was his custom, Samuel waited three days to text Chabria, following the rule listed in The Bro Code. They began to text every day, and a strong friendship emerged. It started with a few text conversations here and there, then it exploded into long text message threads and, eventually, extended facetime calls filled with smiles and passing glances. Their journey had begun...their journey to the altar.
