Yes! The Elmwood Park Zoo is a unique venue that offers everything you'd expect from any other wedding venue, but with an added twist! If you'd like to make the most of this experience, we can arrange for complimentary admission for you earlier that day. Just let us know beforehand so we can get you on the early entry guest list. No worries if you can't make it before 5:00 PM. You'll also have time to explore the zoo during Cocktail Hour.

For our special day, we kindly request our guests to wear BLACK, dressy semi-formal attire. Ladies: BLACK dresses (floor-length, midi, cocktail or party), jumpsuits, or pantsuits are all welcome. Please minimize or avoid patterns. Gentlemen: BLACK suit and tie are preferred, but black sport jackets or blazers with dark pants are acceptable. If opting for no suit jacket, please wear a black dress shirt. Ties are optional. If worn, please choose a solid black tie. While black is preferred, any semi-formal attire (no jeans or t-shirts) in a dark color palette is also appropriate.

Ample parking is available on-site. The zoo closes to the public at 5:00 PM to accommodate our wedding celebration. Guests are welcome to arrive at the main entrance and mention they are attending Kaitlyn and Ryan's wedding. Our friendly staff will be happy to direct you to the ceremony and reception areas, which will be clearly marked with signage.

While we won't be providing transportation to the ceremony, a bus will be available at the end of the reception to take guests back to the Alloy Hotel. For those driving, you're welcome to leave your car overnight in the zoo parking lot.

No. The Elmwood Park Zoo is a smoke-free environment. Designated smoking areas are located outside the zoo grounds near the entrance and parking lot.
