John and I had swiped right on Tinder on Easter Sunday in April 2023. We had talked throughout the day and never stopped. We had briefly met in person at the Circle K gas station on his way to work within the following week. He said he liked my style, and I said I liked his height. And we haven't been apart since.

We (John and I, John's girls, Alice and Penelope, and my daughter Aurora) had just finished opening all our Christmas presents on Christmas Eve since John had to work on Christmas day. John said there was one more gift, but I was confused because I couldn't see anything left unopened. I turned around to ask him, and he was on one knee asking me to marry him with the most gorgeous ring! 😍🥰

We officially found a house and are in the final stages of closing so that we can move in! We can't wait to have our rehearsal dinner there <3 I graduated from college with my bachelor's in health and human services! It's still wild to believe! We have been working on wedding planning, and thankfully, my mom and sister are helping me, which is HUGE!!!! I have gotten a couple of new diagnoses and providers, so the appointments have been overwhelming. Having this help means the world to me. Still so much more to go, but we cannot wait for everyone to see what we come up with, and we can't wait to celebrate with you <3
